Babe & Me Yoga

These mom and baby yoga classes will take you through gentle and targeted poses suitable for postpartum bodies (and minds). You will be challenged in new and fun ways, cultivating strength for your beautiful body, inviting play with baby and offering major stress release through the practice of Kundalini Yoga

Each class will focus on developing core strength and stability, with particular emphasis on strengthening the back, abdomen and pelvic floor (because we don’t want to have to cross our legs with every sneeze *wink*), as well as stretching the neck, shoulders and back. Throughout the class, you can include baby in your movement, or simply have baby close-by. Come to realign and to reconnect with yourself through movement, breath and play. Babes are welcome to cry, laugh, poop and sleep!  For ages 6 weeks to super mobile!

Hello beautiful souls! My name is Shae Savage.

I have been in the rehabilitation industry for 7+ years working with a variety of clients such as insurance claims, workplace claims, athletic injuries, mental health, specialized populations including pregnancy, pre and post surgical as well as acquired brain injuries.

I did my 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training locally in South Surrey, BC where I then completed my training in 2014. Additionally, I have completed 85hrs of Kundalini certifications with Sempervivia Yoga, 85hr Prenatal Yoga Training with La Lupa Via Wellness and 25hr Prenatal Yoga Training with Lori Lucas. I have also acquired my 500 hour Pranayama Teacher Training with Pranayama Sadhana.

In my teachings, I create a fusion between my rehabilitation experience and yogic postures/philosophy to empower, and support you on your journey. I use techniques from earth medicine practices, somatic healing and rewilding principles for an awakening into the divine. Additionally, through conscious movements you are able to create a deeper connection to the medicine that already exists within you.
