This class will make you feel good no matter what your body type or flexibility. It is designed to get your blood flowing and build heat while providing you with new challenges! These classes are open to anyone who has given birth and requires no previous yoga experience.

Power Yoga is a more intense and vigorous class focused on developing strength and increasing flexibility. We practice core power yoga and include flow yoga for the extra challenge. You will work hard; and I promise you’ll enjoy igniting the ‘fire’.

We conveniently scheduled this class right before Rest & Renew Yoga (Restorative Yoga for mamas). So if you’re keen to follow up your Power class with a very therapeutic practice, register for both back to back! We look forward to having you join us in this caring and supportive space.

 

Under One Year Post Natal

While this yoga class is for both beginner and intermediate levels, mamas who are under 1 year postpartum are strongly recommended to see a pelvic floor physiotherapist for the go ahead to practice. Without taking such precautions, you could cause permanent damage to your body (i.e. pelvic floor, transverse abdominus, diastasis recti, etc.). 1+ Year Post Natal

For those who are more than one year postpartum, we strongly suggest taking a short quiz to determine if your body is ready for a Power Yoga class. Hello, I’m Salina. I am a wife, mother, doula, yoga teacher and lover of all things sweet!

I’ve been practicing yoga for over a decade. After the birth of my daughter, decided to pursue my passion for teaching it. I am passionate about making connections, uniting the mind, the body and the breath.

Yoga stole my heart and we are now beyond ‘the point of no return’. Yoga is therapy, it is gratitude, love, family and connection.

As a yoga teacher, I am committed to teaching you how to practice yoga in a way that connects you to your body, mind and spirit. My classes always provide a safe and fun environment to experiment, play with movement and challenge yourself. I greatly enjoy getting to know my students and I look forward to meeting you one day soon.
