Power Mama Yoga
Our Power Mama Yoga class is for every ‘body’! This class will make you feel good no matter what your body type or flexibility. It is designed to get your blood flowing and build heat while providing you with new challenges! These classes are open to anyone who has given birth and requires no previous yoga experience.
Power Yoga is a more intense and vigorous class focused on developing strength and increasing flexibility. We practice core power yoga and include flow yoga for the extra challenge. You will work hard; and I promise you’ll enjoy igniting the ‘fire’.
We conveniently scheduled this class right before Rest & Renew Yoga (Restorative Yoga for mamas). So if you’re keen to follow up your Power class with a very therapeutic practice, register for both back to back! We look forward to having you join us in this caring and supportive space.
Wednesdays from 6:45pm – 7:45pm
While this yoga class is for both beginner and intermediate levels, mamas who are under 1 year postpartum are strongly recommended to see a pelvic floor physiotherapist for the go ahead to practice. Without taking such precautions, you could cause permanent damage to your body (i.e. pelvic floor, transverse abdominus, diastasis recti, etc.). Your ‘yoga chaperone’ for Power Mama Yoga
Hi! My name is Kim Bassan. I’m originally from Israel, which is where I was first introduced to Yoga. I received my 200 Hours YTT Certificate and fell in love with the journey. I then decided to work towards my 500 hours RYT after moving to Canada in 2018.
“For me, yoga revolves around the flow between breath and movement. It challenges the body, both physically and mentally, for a mindful and present experience.”
I come from a highly fitness-focussed background, so I love infusing these elements into each yoga class! I look forward to sharing this journey with you one day soon!
